Friedens Church is located in rural Nemaha County along the Kansas-Nebraska state line. It was founded in 1892 and continues to allow members the opportunity to grow in their Christian faith. Members come from many local Kansas and Nebraska towns and farms.

Friedens offers many special events and organizations for members and local community members. Some of these include the Church Council, Women's Fellowship, Youth and Adult Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, The Nemaha County Food Pantry, Christmas Eve Program, Easter Sunrise Services, and the always famous annual Ice Cream Social in July.

Pastor Ron DeVore is currently serving as the pastor at Friedens. There are currently 160 church members. The average Sunday attendance in 2019 was 33 people.
